Nisan is coming. I am planning on sending my MAOS CHITTIM donation to Keren Hashviis http://www.shviis.com , and organization that gives financial support to Israeli farmers who are observing shmitta. I understand that most wheat grown in Israel is used for pesah matza, so this makes the urgency to help with pesah costs relevant if not greater. I would like to recommend that others join me in this venture by sending a donation; if you wish to donate through me, I am planning to sending a check on Rosh Chodesh Nisan. By the way, the Netz Minyan of Greenspring (Baltimore) sent a nice (approx $250 ) donation.

Pesah Note: Unless we get a FIRM commitment of 10, my experience tells me we should not schedule minyanim for 1st 2 days of Pesach. (As a sign in the office says- HOPE is not a PLAN). I am willing to commit- if you are also interested contact me, but unless you hear otherwise, there is no minyan first 2 days of Pesah. (There is a vasikin minyan at the Agudah of Park Heights those days)
